The uniqueness of the content is the original beauty and worth of the article and your blog too.

It makes the identity of your blog and once the people know about it then you will get the readers only who have interest in your niche. And if you have general blog it will not have the potential readers. Readers do not want to waste the time in search of their interest related post so they prefer that blog who have all the posts of their interest.
